Cavity Creepers

We started brushing the girls teeth this past Sunday night! I get so excited for their first time things! It went a lot better than I thought it would....

They both got to pick a color...

This and That

It has been a while... I am so busy with this class, looking for a job, and just normal everyday things that I haven't had much time to do anything... The girlies are doing great besides the hair pulling thing. They get each other by the hair with both hands ans pull like crazy. This is not good. When I tell them NO! They laugh at me. Not funny! Well its not, but I usually end up laughing too. I have come to realize you cannot discipline an 11 month old!

I have decided to continue going to school for my CNA's Yay Me!!!

My nephew Michael and his GF Kate came by on Sunday. They are moving to Tallahassee, Fl this Saturday. I'm going to miss them! But, they are leaving Ga for good reason: to go to school there. I wish them all the luck in the world.

Tomorrow the girls will be 11 months old. It is so hard to believe that it has been almost a year since I gave birth to them. I know you have all read this at least once in my post and will probably read it a million more: These girls are my everything, and I love them soooo much!

I want some really cute outfits for them to wear on their B-day. Do any of you have any suggestions on where to look? Jennifer is making them tutu's which I can't wait to see them in.

I need to get started on this load of school work so I guess this is it until I get some free time:)

Totally Random Thursday!

The babies tried broccoli for the first time tonight. Chey Chey wasn't crazy about it, but Khlo Khlo loved it. The whole time she was eating it she was going mmmm  mmmm! I figured I would let them try it without cheese this time, but maybe add a little next time. I read somewhere that you have to offer food to a child 10-20 times before they can totally decide they don't like it. What do y'all think?

RC went to pick up my book  for this quarter and this bad boy is costing me 250.11. That is ridiculous! I have HOPE, but that didn't even pay for all of my tech fees. GEEZZZ!!! I am only taking one class this quarter, which is probably a good thing. The book is like 2 inches thick! That is a lot of material to cover in five weeks... Wish me lots of luck!

I bet y'all are tired of people's opinions about the whole Casey Anthony case, but here is mine: She might have got off easy here on earth, but she won't get off easy with GOD!

I was making dinner tonight and found tiny pieces of glass in my croissants... Y'all check them out if you eat them! And YES they were the Pillsbury ones.

Back to the school thing... I have one more class to take before I have my Medical Front Office Certificate... That means time to look for a job! No Thanks! I will stay home with my love bugs! Reality is I can't!!! I really don't want them in daycare... So! with that being said... I'm thinking about working at night where one of us will be with the girls all the time. CNA's or Phlebotomy!  I could do either one at night at a hospital. That means going to school a tad bit longer, but that's ok. Opinions Please???

Our Fourth of July!

Saturday night RC and I went to the movies to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon 3D. It was pretty good, but not as good as the previous ones.

Sunday night we went to the fairgrounds with my sister Leah, Ricky and Baby Bryson to see fireworks. I figured it would scare the girls but they didn't seem to mind the BIG BOOMS! They loved all the bright colors. My camera batteries died as soon as we go there... Bummer! So didn't get any pics! Well, besides this one on the Hubby's blackberry.

Happy Birth Day America!

All was good until this group of teens came and stood behind us blaring a boom box with lights on it. Yes.. a boom box with lights on it... The music was totally inappropriate for little ears to hear. There were kids everywhere. A few people asked them to turn it off to which the reply was a smart "NO". About 10 mins hearing there ridiculous music and filthy mouths I had had enough! I thought to myself I know they see my babies and my sisters baby attempting to sleep... I turned to them and said" If you don't turn that crap off I will turn it off for you!""There are kids everywhere not that I need to point that out to you!" "I mean what I say!" "Turn it off or I will find someone to make you turn it off!" Did they tell me NO ummm I think not! They stood there for a minute and stared at me with a stupid look on their face and the proceeded to go mope by the bathrooms. Needless to say their boom box was off and stayed off!

The girls rocked these cute outfits to the fireworks!

Chey in the pink and Khloe in the USA!

On Monday we went to the parade... We met my Sis, Ricky, and Bryson. The girls did not like it at all. After the first choo-choo blew its horn both girls started screaming. So we went back to the car, and watched from there. Cheyanna still cried.

Cheyanna. That's better

Seems like they have had tons of "firsts" here lately! These girls are my everything. I thank GOD for them everyday!

Yesterday...

We took the girls to the Doctor yesterday just for a check-up. Ya'll I panic about every little thing. Chey Chey weighs 19 pounds. Yep! That's right 19 pounds!!! YAY! Khlo Khlo weighs 17 pounds 13 ounces. Babygirl is catching up to her sissy pretty quickly. They had to get their finger pricked to check their iron, and they didn't even shed a tear.

Waiting on the Doc to come in. I tired to rotate this pic.

Did I mention they are sucking pacies again? It's cute though!

Checking out their Bug Bunny band aids

Remember me telling ya'll about Khlo biting??? Well, she is at it again! She bit Chey twice yesterday, and the second time she left a bruise.... What the heck am I supposed to do about this? This time when I got onto her she cried. It was that Mommy I'm hurt cry... I can't handle that. So suggestions to stop the biting would be great. RC's aunt told me to push down on her teeth next time. I hope there will not be a next time, but if so I will be trying this.

Oh, aren't these outfits just cute?!

Rainbow Babies!

I have been thinking about Cheyenne a lot in the past couple of weeks. Not that I don't usually think about her. Trust me; I think about her everyday.  It may be the fact that I am an avid watcher of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" and if you watch the show you would know that Ben and Adrian's baby was stillborn, or the fact that I did my research paper on Down Syndrome. Who knows?!

Most of the time when I get like this I go online and read things that I know I shouldn't... and end up bawling my eyes out! Literally! This is exactly what I did today minus the bawling my eyes out part:) In the process of reading the new blog that the Atlanta Perinatal Loss website has and other things I was holding both of the babies while they were napping. I came across a phrase that rang a bell "Rainbow Babies". Where have I heard that? Then it came to me... When the girls were in the NICU one of the nurses said they were "Rainbow Babies". When she said it I thought ok that's cute and sweet, but never thought anything else about it.

Some of you may know what a Rainbow Baby is. I didn't until I read this and I wish like crazy I wouldn't have forgotten what that sweet nurse called my sweet baby girls:

"Rainbow Babies" is the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravages of the storm. When a rainbow appears, it doesn't mean the storm never happened or that the family is not still dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds. Storm clouds may still hover but the rainbow provides a counterbalance of color, energy and hope.

This is so true. I am so happy that GOD BLESSED us with these two baby girls. They are definitely my rainbows after the storm. They brighten my day everyday! They are my life! I love them so much!

GOD is so GOOD!!!

The Girlies!

The Baby Girls have been enjoying lots of new foods here lately. They like oatmeal with fruit, Eggo cinnamon toast, cheese toast, grilled cheese, grapes and strawberries. There really isn't much that they don't like, which is probably a good thing. This morning they had their first ever grilled cheese with pear blueberry baby food.

Cheyanna has started standing without holding onto anything! I'm pretty sure the girls will be walking before their 1st birthday, if not I will be shocked!

A Chance to Talk about My Angel

Last night I had to go give my presentation for my English class. My topic was Down Syndrome. I think about six people went ahead of me, and I noticed she asked every person why they chose their topic. I was hoping she would maybe forget to ask me this question....

Well she did not forget, and her wording was different for asking me. She said "Is this relatively close to you?"

I told her and the other ten people I have never laid eyes on about how Cheyenne was diagnosed with DS,and that I lost her late in my pregnancy. Wow! I actually shared her story with someone besides my family and didn't cry!  Then I continued to tell them how 1 year and 12 days later GOD blessed us with Identical Twin Girls that are now happy, healthy, beautiful 10 month olds!

Good things came out of that topic! An A+, got to witness about how GREAT GOD is, talk about my angel baby, and BRAG on my Double Blessings that I thank GOD for everyday!

The sky was beautiful on the way home last night and I have to admit I shed a tear or two then...

This is a newborn pic of the Double Blessings! Hard to believe they were ever this little!

Bertolli... This is a short one ya'll..

Let's just say I will never be one of those people who can eat frozen dinners. We had Chicken Parmesan Pasta from Bertolli's selection on frozen meals and it was SUPER YUCKY!
I ended up eating a PB&J and RC ate some hot dogs.<--- Great dinner huh? The girlies chowed down on some homemade mashed potatoes (they love 'em)!

What I Really Need To Be Doing....

Is preparing my presentation for my English class which is due Thursday...... Instead I have been playing with my Loves! I have no motivation today. I feel so blah...

The girls turned 10 months old yesterday! Where is the time going? It seems like yesterday they were so tiny, and we were bringing them home.

So, Khloe clapped for the first time Saturday night while she was eating her pizza, and she also points to her eyes, ears, mouth and nose when you sing the Head Shoulders Knees and Toes song with her. She is my little Firecracker! She also bit her sissy's arm... not good. I mean how do you get onto a 10 month old?

Cheyanna likes to do the Head Shoulders Knees and Toes song too. We are working on the pointing. Also working on the clapping. But she does feed herself puffs:) where Khloe wants her Mommy to feed them to her. She is my Love Bug! I know they are not going to do things at the same time, but sometimes I worry that one is doing something and the other is not...

Having fun in the tub... Cheyanna on the left and Khloe on the right.

Here we go!

I have been meaning to start this blog for a while. I plan on posting often! Mostly about the Baby Girlies and what they have doing (getting into).
